As we kick off the 2026 Church Conference season, we want to make sure you and your church leaders have the information and resources you need to navigate the process with confidence.
Last month, the Greater Detroit District hosted a mandatory Zoom training for local church clergy, administrators, and laity. We were grateful for the wonderful participation and appreciate everyone who took the time to join us. The training included a lot of important information—and, as you may remember, we covered so much that the session ran longer than anticipated!
We listened! To make the information easier to access and less time-consuming, we created a 30-minute abbreviated training video focused on the critical “need-to-know” items that will help your church prepare for Church Conference without unnecessary stress or confusion.
Please take 30 minutes to watch the video and share it with everyone in your church involved in the Church Conference process, including your church administrator, church governance chair or anyone responsible for preparing or uploading documents.
